Life Membership Plaque and Gift to recongnise Joe's significant acheivements and dedication to TTQ and Table Tennis in Queensland.
Congratulations to Joe Clifton who has been awarded Life Membership of Table Tennis Queensland.
He was awarded this honour at the recent Table Tennis Queensland Annual General Meeting which was held on Saturday 28th March 2020.
Joe has been a valued and dedicated long serving member of the Table Tennis community for many years as a player in 1989, an umpire, a referee, a club committee member and an experienced Table Tennis Queensland Board of Management Member holding varying positions.
He was first recognised as an accredited State Umpire in 1994 and over the years progressed through to an International Umpire and a National Referee. Joe has volunteered at many Club, State, National and International events over many years devoting his time and expertise to the sport he loves.
Joe Clifton began serving as a board member at the young age of 21 gaining valuable knowledge over the years. He has held various positions on the Rockhampton Table Tennis Management Committee and the Table Tennis Queensland's Board of Management over the past two decades. Joe has served on the TTQ Board as a Board Member, Vice President and as TTQ Treasure since 2007.
Joe Clifton has been steadfast with his commitment and his dedication he has shown to the Sport of Table Tennis and we are proud to award to him a Life Membership of Table Tennis Queensland.
