TTQ partners with Acceleration Australia to strengthen performance support

Table Tennis Queensland is pleased to announce a partnership with Acceleration Australia, bringing additional performance expertise and preparation resources to Queensland’s table tennis community in 2027.

Established in 2000, Acceleration Australia has trained more than 20,000 athletes. Through the partnership, TTQ members will have access to practical performance articles, alongside preparation advice for players and officials ahead of the National Championship events.

Acceleration Australia Managing Director Stewart Briggs said the partnership would support both state team athletes and the wider membership.

“We want to help Table Tennis Queensland athletes get the most out of their national championship experiences, but we also want to help educate the whole Table Tennis community about small High-Performance aspects that can make a big difference to their individual performance.”

TTQ CEO Brady Walmsley said the partnership was the first step in a series of improvements to the state team experience.

“On the back of strong performance at the recent National Junior Championships, we want to keep improving the support we offer our Queensland state team participants. This partnership is an initial step towards giving our players and coaches more tools to prepare well and perform at their best,” he said.

“It also brings useful expertise to our broader membership. There is scope to build on the partnership over time as we identify opportunities to provide further value to our members.”

TTQ looks forward to building a strong relationship with Acceleration Australia that supports our state teams and brings lasting value to the wider table tennis community.
