From this year, the TTQ Annual Awards will align with the new Table Tennis Australia National Awards framework meaning that winners in key categories – including Volunteer of the Year, Club Coach of the Year, Representative Coach of the year and Official of the Year – will be celebrated in Queensland as well as finalists at the TTA National Awards. 

While these changes allow recognition on the national stage, TTQ will continue to celebrate the contributions of the wide Queensland table tennis community. Other categories including Senior, Junior, Para, and Veterans Players of the Year will continue to be celebrated at the state level awards. 

This change represents a significant step forward in celebrating the talent, dedication, and passion within our sport. By connecting our state awards to the national framework, we are giving our community a bigger stage and greater visibility than ever before.
