2026 Queensland Schools Championship Results

Published Wed 16 Sep 2026

The QLD Schools Championships brought together students from 44 schools at the South Pine Indoor Sports Centre on 14 September, showcasing the continued growth and strength of our schools network.

The event provided students with an exciting opportunity to represent their schools, compete alongside their peers and experience the energy of a major schools championship. The strong attendance reflected the increasing engagement of schools, players and families across the region.

With 44 schools participating, this year’s championships marked a significant milestone for the expanding schools network. The event highlighted the important role school-based competitions play in introducing more young people to the sport, creating positive experiences and strengthening connections within the wider community.

“Our sincere thanks go to every player who competed, the families who supported them and the schools that helped make the championships possible. The involvement of 44 schools is a fantastic reflection of how much our schools network continues to grow. We would also like to recognise and thank the City of Moreton Bay for its ongoing support, which plays an important role in helping us deliver opportunities like this for young people,” said Cam Goldfinch, Participation, Events & Marketing Coordinator.

The success of the QLD Schools Championships would not have been possible without the teachers, school staff, officials, volunteers and supporters who contributed their time and enthusiasm throughout the event.
