Key Information – 2024 Tournament Calendar

• As a first, we have incorporated the TTA National Championship Events, National Hopes and TTA Tour Event dates on our QLD Tournament Program to both enable QLD clubs and participants to understand the timeline of events at both state and national level, and to hopefully encourage QLD participation in National Events.
• In terms of scheduling, we have adjusted the start date of our QLD Closed Junior Championships to Monday 1^st April to avoid a clash with the TTA Tour Event in Canberra finishing on 31 March. We are fortunate to have access to a bigger venue at Brisbane TTA which allows us to get through the QLD Juniors program in 4 days (normally 5 days).
• The QLD Open venue in 2024 is to be confirmed due to some external negotiations with a possible venue for this event. We are confident we will be able to announce a venue for the QLD Open before the end of the year and will circulate an updated draft accordingly.
• The inaugural QLD Open Veterans Teams Championships is scheduled for the Kings Birthday weekend of 5-7 October on the Gold Coast. We are excited about the future growth potential of this event and look forward to sharing more information about this event early in 2024!
• The listed date for the TTQ AGM (Saturday 2^nd March 2024) is subject to the auditors being able to meet the reporting requirements timeline. If this date needs to be updated, we will advise accordingly.
