The Queensland Veteran Championships Entry Form is available. Please ensure all entries are submitted to your club along with your state team nomination form if you are interested in being considered for selection in the Queensland Veterans Team. Due to Table Tennis Australia trialling an Over 30 category at the next Australian Veterans Championships, we have included Over 30 events into the Queensland Championships for the first time.

 Table Tennis Queensland is delighted to announce a record eight State teams for the 2012 K-Sports Australian Open.  The State Selectors have selected an "A" and "B" team in each of the four team events: Men's, Women's, U21 Men's and U21 Women's teams.

  Table Tennis Queensland is seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals for a team manager and seven team coaches (4 Volunteer Coaches for B Teams) for the 2012 Australian Juniors.  The event will run from 1st to 7th July 2012 in Brisbane.

 Table Tennis Queensland will be conducting our next TOPS and Level 1 coaching course at Moreton Bay Table Tennis Club and will be presented by our new state coaching coordinator Cathy Townsend.

 Table Tennis Queensland is seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals for a team manager and six team coaches for the 2012 Australian Juniors.  The event will run from 30th September to 6th October 2012 in Perth, WA.

Sports Medicine Australia will be conducting a First Aid Course for Table Tennis Queensand being held at Brisbane Table Tennis Association on Saturday 2nd June 2012.

 The Queensland Senior Championships Draw is released

The Queensland Schools Championships has been expanded and events will be held in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Townsville. We look forward to seeing you all again at this great event.

The Queensland Junior Championships will be held in Townsville from the 24th to the 29th June 2012. Please ensure all entry forms are sent to your club for submission along with your state team nomination form if you are interested in being considered for selection for the Queensland Junior Team. This year Townsville will be incorporating AWD events during the championships and we hope to see you in Townsville for a great event.

 The Toowoomba Open will be held on the 26th and 27th May 2012. We hope to see you all there.

Selection panels primarily consider results in Group 1 (National and State Events) and Group 2 (Other nominated events) for selection purposes. In previous years there have generally been only 3-4 Group 2 events.  However for 2012, all Association Open events in Queensland will be considered Group 2 events to make Group 2 events as accessible as possible.

Can you please ensure your players who are likely to nominate for State Teams aware of this information.

The Queensland Senior Championships will be held at the Gold Coast Table Tennis Association on the 5th May to the 8th May. Hope to see you there.

If yes, then you or your team could be eligible for a Local Sporting Champions grant to help meet costs such as uniforms, travel, accommodation and equipment.

TTQ is delighted to announce that Dave Delpratt of Bundaberg has been selected by the International Table Tennis Federation as one of the Deputy Referees. 

The German city of Dortmund is the host for the 2012 Liebherr World Team Championships; the event will be staged in the Westfalenhallen from Sunday 25th March to Sunday 1st April.

Table Tennis Queensland's Roll of Honour has been updated for 2011. I have also created two new Roll of Honours including President Shield winners and Team Events winners.
