Welcome to the April edition of Over the Net for 2025!

The QLD Junior & Senior Closed Table Tennis Championships were held at the new state events centre over the week of 15-21 April was a HIT with players, with many commenting how the impressive venue at South Pine Indoor Sports Centre in Moreton Bay, felt like an actual tournament venue. 

The tournament featured 32 brand new JOOLA tables and court equipment, including 2 main showcourts in front of the spectator grandstand, with all matches played on court 1 livestreamed on the TTQ Youtube channel the entire week, including a highlights package of all matches.

The OFFICIAL Queensland junior, youth and senior player rankings for the first quarter of 2025 have been published as players vie for top ranking spots in each age group and open category.

A reminder to all players seeking to nominate for state team selection to participate in the National Veterans Championships to be held in Moreton Bay from 18-25 October.

There are only 2 northern qualifying tournaments, and 1 association open event remaining to meet the selection eligibility conditions of the TTQ Selection Policy (see coming events below).
